Bromley Juniors 1 – 0 East One FC

Bromley Juniors have the Ansar !!

Bromley Juniors kicked off their season in Division 2 with a 1-0 Victory over East one, Veteran Ansar Miah capped off a fine performance by scoring the only goal of the game.

Assistant Coach Ansar Miah came out of semi-retirement to score his first ever goal in a Bromley Top, he has been playing for the Club for 7 Years and has only managed to score after taking up an assistant coach role for the Juniors. “He took the ball outside the box and seemed to run past three or four defenders before calmly tucking the ball into the corner of the net” – is was almost a replica of the Messi goal against Real Madrid which Ansar had converted from a Corner Kick that ricocheted off defender to defender and put his foot through it only yards away from the goal line.

Bromley ended the game with 10 men as Striker Wayne tore his hamstring after clashing with the East one Goalkeeper. Star winger Abul Kashim was called upon even though he was suffering from an twisted ankle the previous week, he did a terrific job as Right back almost resembling a young Javier Zannetti, the promising full back also got awarded man of the match and has been scouted by a Un-named Bundesliga club.
